Benvolio

Dear Agony Aunt

My cousin is in love with this girl who doesn’t love him back. He is actually obsessed with her, but I know he doesn’t stand a chance! How can I persuade him to move on?

Comments

  1. Tell him this girl doesn't deserve him because he is way to good for her. Then, all you have to do is set up a blind date. He'll fall in love, then he'll feel like repaying you so he'll find you a girl then you both could double date... Bish...Bash...Bosh, Bob's your uncle.... well, technically Lord Montague is, but you know what I mean!

  2. I think you should let him get over it him self if you rush him he will miss her so much more

  3. He will find a girl. He wont be alone forever. There's plenty fish in the sea!!! :*

  4. Set him up with a selection of girls and take him on a speed date

  5. Find him a new lover!

  6. Dude, girls are the worst. You just gotta wait for him to get over it.

Introduction

I am Benvolio, the nephew to Lord Montague and the cousin of Romeo. Romeo is in love with a girl who doesn’t love him, so I spend much of my time trying to cheer him up. In Verona, our family has a big rivalry with the Capulet family. I prefer to keep peace rather than fighting, but it is hard to avoid getting caught up in a brawl. The Prince of the City has put a death penalty upon any Capulet or Montague who breaks his rule again, so when Romeo kills Tybalt, I beg him to flee the scene in order to avoid this punishment.
