Juliet

Dear Agony Aunt

I’m in love with the son of my dad’s enemy and we have married in secret. The problem is that my dad wants me to marry this other guy who I don’t even like! What can I do to put him off?

  1. Dear Juliet,

You are a woman born ahead of your time. Sadly your parents belong to a generation who didn't have choices about who they married, so they can't understand why you'd want to choose for yourself when they have worked hard to find such a noble suitor for you. It is a clash of ideologies and lifestyles. Confide in your Nurse and the Friar for counsel, they might be able to help.

    Best of luck Jules.

  2. Dear Juliet,

I think you should show your mum and dad you love Romeo

  3. Dear Juliet,

I hope at the end you will get to be with your one and only Romeo.

p.s hope your parents let you be with him.

  4. Dear Juliet,

I understand you love Romeo so don't stop loving him. Don't listen to your mum and Dad or Romeo's mum and Dad. Marry him.

  5. Dear Juliet,

I think you should tell your dad the truth because when he knows he will let you. He is your dad and he would understand.

  6. Dear Juliet,

Tell no-one! You must follow wherever your heart takes you and run away with the boy of your dreams Romeo.

  7. Dear Juliet,

I know how you feel. I like someone in my class but i can't tell anyone just like how you can't tell your father. But let me tell you something - DON'T GIVE UP.

  8. Dear Juliet,

I know you have a crush on Romeo. If you like Romeo ALOT just tell him how you feel about him and run away with him and get an education.

    Start a new life.

    YOU GO GIRL !!!!!

  9. Dear Juliet,

Follow your heart and do what you have to do!

  10. Dear Juliet,

Tell him you love someone else.

Introduction

I am Juliet, the daughter of Lord and Lady Capulet. My mother and father want me to marry their chosen suitor, Paris, but I am in love with Romeo. Romeo is the son of my father’s rival and therefore we have to keep our relationship a secret. Even after killing my cousin, Tybalt, I remain loyal to Romeo. When he is banished from Verona by the Prince, I am hopeful of our reunion and seek advice from Friar Lawrence to avoid my parents’ will. I am scared to take the potion the Friar has given me, but I believe it is worth risking my life to be with Romeo again. When I wake up in the family tomb and see Romeo dead beside me, I am distraught and see no other option but to take my own life.
